Stop and Smell the Flowers
Canvas, Acrylic
In Studio Art I found that I like using watered down acrylic, because it has the consistency of watercolor and is able to layer and be used in a different way. When I paint, it's my way of communicating, so each piece has a different meaning that applies to me. The phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” is one that I live by. I use everything I see to make art, EVERYTHING. It's not just layers of paint to me, each brush stroke means something. My goal for this year is to take hard to explain feelings, and make a visual description with my ability because not everything can be said in words.
